Santa and his elves visit Carlmont for the holidays

Snow in California and Santa at school? It’s a Christmas miracle!

To relieve students of some stress during Dead Week and to bring in some holiday spirit, Santa came to the quad.

“Having Santa here makes me feel like there’s no place like school for the holidays. Santa is looking very well-rested and prepared for the long haul on Christmas Eve,” said sophomore Brock Lotti.

Even Principal Ralph Crame and Instructional Vice Principal Jennifer Cho came to take a picture with Santa and enjoy the festivities.

Crame said, “This is amazing! We have snow in the quad and Santa here. I think it’s a wonderful experience for everybody.”

As lunchtime came to a close, Santa and his elves got ready to clean up.

Junior Ryan Geronimo, who was in the Santa costume, said, “I loved being a multicultural Santa.  I met a lot of people that I usually never interact with, so this was a great way to bring in the holidays.”

Although finals week is nearing, students have two weeks of family, friends, and holidays to look forward to.
