A pitcher for the Padres draws back to throw a pitch down the field. The Padres' pitchers threw a variety of balls, heavily restricting the Scots' offense. The Padres' strong pitching was a key factor in their victory, as they kept the Scots from scoring in four of the six innings played.
The Carlmont Scots boys JV baseball team lost to the Serra Padres on Monday, Feb. 23. Serra took an early lead from the first inning and managed to expand on it throughout the game. Carlmont began to catch up in the fifth inning, but was unable to even the score, resulting in a 13-6 loss.
