Derek Lam (Class of 2028) is a sophomore at Carlmont High School. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, and binging television shows. He’s excited to write for and contribute to Scot Scoop this year.

A student searches through rows of water bottles and clothing in Carlmont’s lost and found for a missing item. In addition to these items, the lost and found also collects electronics, jewelry, and other valuable items, which are stored separately throughout the school year in case students return looking for them. “Valuable items are kept in a separate drawer at my desk so that they are not accessible to just anyone,” said Allegra Ferme, a Carlmont secretary who manages the lost and found items.
