Starbucks announces its fall menu, bringing new flavors and long lines to many of its local stores.
The fall seasonal menu at Starbucks brings back the pumpkin spice latte, salted caramel mocha, pumpkin sugar cookies, and more, but only for a limited time.
The short availability of these employee-acclaimed, widely popular items have been bringing customers in more frequently, leaving the after school lines even longer.
Many students believe these lines are worth waiting in. Carlmont sophomore and Starbucks regular Cami Mack said, “I really like it. The best part about the fall menu is all the new pumpkin drinks.” Mack also said that she’s only tried one seasonal item this year, but can’t wait to try many more.
Many students like Mack have been heading down to Starbucks after school for a long time, but only in some recent cases have these everlasting Starbucks reached extreme proportions.
Carlmont student and Starbucks usual Micaela Lopez said, “There are a lot more adults in the morning than usual.”
New attractions like the pumpkin themed items continue to draw in many different people of all ages. Many people stop by Starbucks on their way to work in the morning, to drop off their kids, or just to start their day, sometimes. With the seasonal menu out, more and more people have been making the trip to Starbucks in the morning.
This may not end up becoming too much for many Starbucks customers as Lopez also said, “The customer service is still really good and they tend to be pretty quick. The lines only take about 10 more minutes to get through.”
Even though the line size has increased dramatically, it appears that Starbucks has been able to keep these lines from reaching catastrophic proportions. The new fall flavors are still reachable.
The fall seasonal menu at Starbucks has brought longer lines with its new items, but that is not stopping customers from waiting outside the door.
