Cartoon: Waving the blue flag

On December 16th, three Israeli hostages waving a white flag were mistakenly shot by Israel’s forces, killing them. Since then, there has been an outpour of support for the three men’s lives and families. However, this coverage sharply contrasts with the lack of coverage of Palestinian victims, who have no way of communicating with the outside world to humanize their losses. (Shiyo Ohashi)
