As the school year winds down to an end, the annual end-of-the-year assembly is approaching.

Every year, Carlmont’s Associated Student Body hosts an assembly that wraps up the entire year and displays a slideshow full of all the highlights from the year. The highlights range from dances to athletic events, and visit the memorable experiences throughout the year.

A variety of clubs and groups also perform during the assembly.

Many students are excited for the presentations, but some are looking forward to specific parts especially. Junior Jared Fitzpatrick said, “I’m looking forward to the performance by Drumline because they are always my favorite part of the assembly.”

Not only are many of the students excited for the assembly, but also ASB is excited to put the whole thing on.

ASB member Tristan Gasperian said, “The assembly is going to be great because it is unlike any end of the year assemblies in past years. It’s award show themed for the first time and is a celebration of the entire year. We also have the best emcee team to ever hit Carlmont.”

With excitement on both ends of the assembly, it is bound to be a thrilling hour.

With only a few days left until the assembly, anticipation is very high at Carlmont.
