Almost every successful organization or business has their own website up and running. The Carlmont High School’s library is by no means an exception.
Under the “Student” tab on Carlmont’s homepage, students are able to access several pages about textbooks, resources, research projects, and more. Teachers can also set up pages specifically for their class’ research projects through Alice Laine, the head librarian. To set up a research page, teachers can notify Laine and let her know the information they want put on the page.
“We try to make things easier and more convenient for both teachers and students,” Laine commented.
The library also has a wish list including Run to Daylight and The Conquest of the Incas. Laine stated, “We used to have more people donating to the library from the wish list. We don’t get as much anymore, but we’re always appreciative of it.”
She has been successful in her goal. The library’s website is a convenient way for people to get their information.
