Prom seems like such a huge event that happens at many high schools.
But at Carlmont, prom is occurring a month later, May fifth, rather than its usual time in April.
Even though this event is two months away, many girls seem to be going crazy over what dress to pick out.
“The night has to be perfect, which means I can’t just like my dress, I have to LOVE it, it also has to be THE dress which will make the night amazing,” stated Chloe Sorensen.
Not only are girls preparing via shopping and online shopping, but they are also turning to a Facebook page called “2010 Prom Dresses!” created by Kayla Tabari.
In preparing for prom, girls have to go through so many series of “up do’s” to make themselves look stunning.
After all the preparing such as nails, dresses, shoes, accessories, makeup, hair, facial, and even some go tanning, one usually ends up spending pretty close to 1,000 dollars just so by the end of the night, they can have running makeup and their hair looking like a mess.
Not only does a girl have to worry about the entire beauty process, but they also have to worry about the most important thing, a date.
Numerous girls constantly worry if they will have a date in time for prom, which can make someone go a little crazy about it.
Even though prom is a stressful and very long process to look beyond amazing for one night, it is a night worth getting ready for and it is usually a night that girls will never forget.
