The cardigan is quickly showing up again in wardrobes as fall slowly changes into winter.
The cardigan, which is a type of sweater, is typically worn by girls over dresses, tank tops, and shirts. They’re typically $20-$40, and can be found at many popular stores like H&M, Forever 21, and American Eagle.
Junior Sarah Burry explains how they’re not only a trend for teenage girls. “Cardigans are classy especially when Mr. Turkis wears them.”
Cardigans are so popular with many people because they provide warmth, while also looking good.
Sophomore Zerena Silva said, “Cardigans are cute, they go with pretty much any outfit, and you can wear them in any type of weather basically.”
Soha Said, another sophomore agreed with Zerena: “I love cardigans! They’re perfect for the days that you want to look cute and be comfortable at the same time.”
“I adore cardigans and I definitely think they’re an essential for all the seasons,” stated sophomore Mariya Chichmarenko.
By walking around Carlmont’s campus on any give day, multiple cardigans of all colors, fabrics, and shapes can be spotted.
Although these can be worn in mostly any weather, they look best when paired with a simple pair of jeans and a colored tank top.
