Dana Carvey is an stand-up comedian and actor. After graduating from Carlmont, he attended to the College of San Mateo then later transferred to San Francisco State University to receive his bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications. In 1986, he joined the cast of NBC’s Saturday Night Live where he was best known as the Church Lady and Wayne Campbell’s “Excellent co-host” on the sketch “Wayne World”. Carvey is also well-known for his impersonations of political figures such as former President George Bush and H. Ross Perot. In 1993, Carvey won an Emmy Award for his Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program for his work on SNL.
