The team has now started practices as early as 6 in the morning before school to try to improve for the new upcoming season.
Christian Yuen said, “I like the early morning practices because it gives me a early start to the day even if I don’t want to have to get up that early. It gives us time to practice without any after school distractions and gives us more time to do our homework. I am excited for our season and I think if we can keep up the hard work we can improve a lot as a team.”
Morning practices are a good time to practice where student-athletes can work hard and also leaves time for the students to work on school work after school and focus on one thing at a time.
Yuen went on to say, “We want to become better as a whole so we can show that Carlmont also has a strong lacrosse team.”
The first lacrosse game is coming up quickly and the team is working hard for a fresh start and to not only play good, but win some games.
