The Carlmont Lady Scots defeated Gilroy with ease on Wednesday to advance to the CCS quarterfinals.

Although Carlmont were the favorites, they outplayed Gilroy in every aspect and are now poised to take on Salinas.

After being ousted by Salinas in the CCS semifinals last year, the Lady Scots are out for revenge. Carlmont took down Salinas in the Wildcat Tournament earlier this season, and are confident in their chances to beat them again.

Carlmont and Salinas will face off this Saturday at 11:00 am at North Salinas High School.
