New girls flag football program launches successfully

The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) recently approved a proposal officially making girls flag football a part of the 2023-2024 high school athletic program. Despite its recent inclusion in the athletic program, the Carlmont girls flag football team has shown great success in their season so far. Coached by Oscar Fabic, an English teacher at Carlmont, the team exerts constant determination as they aim to develop a strong and successful program. The hope is to expand the flag football community and inspire more girls to try out in the upcoming years.

A special message from Coach Fabic: If you are interested in competing for a spot on the girls flag football team next year, you can reach out to him at [email protected]
