On Wednesday, Jan. 26, Carlmont’s Boys Varsity Basketball team played local Hillsdale High School.
“We were in control of the game,” said junior student Brandon Stovall.
The Scots won with the final score of 50 to 41.
“We had good focus and our game plan was well executed. We broke their press,” stated Stovall.
On Friday, Jan. 28, they faced Terra Nova at an exciting home quad game. In the first half, both teams were fighting neck to neck to get in the lead. During the third quarter, the Scots pulled ahead. In the fourth quarter, Terra Nova came back to make it a close game and was only down by 6 points. The Scots pulled through within the last few minutes and won with a final score of 52 to 39.
“We controlled the games tempo well and we executed our sets well,” said sophomore Brandon Patterson.
The Scots next game is this Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 6:00 pm at Mills.
