On Wednesday, Carlmont’s Varsity Boys soccer team beat Westmoor with a final score of 2-4.
The game started at 3:00 yesterday with Westmoor getting the first goal of the game.
Carlmont’s Jackson Criswell made a goal off of a throw in from Jeff Sorensen.
Shortly after scoring, Nickola Milkovski got a yellow card for taking his jersey off.
Although the Carlmont goalie made many good saves, the other team scored just before halftime.
At halftime, the coach pumped up the team by vigorously explaining what they did wrong.
Sorensen scored a goal off the top goal post to tie up the game.
The soccer team scored two more goals in the second half. They held the other team for a final score of 4-2.
“I count on varsity doing well because they control what divisions we compete in and they did well yesterday,” said Junior Varsity player Andrew Durlofsky.
