The track team took on the Westmoor Rams at home on Thursday, Mar. 8. Carlmont managed to achieve over twenty first-place finishes in some events, but Westmoor edged out Carlmont and finished strong with a win in every overall category.

“Westmoor had a big team. They took up a lot of spots which forced us to have people get in races that they weren’t usually in but we ended up doing well,” said track team member Priscilla Chan.

Despite the close loss, Carlmont showed great tenacity in the last event: 4X400 m relay. Both Carlmont’s varsity girls and boys teams had the oppurtunity to tie in both divisions with a win. However, Westmoor came out with the wins.

Please come support the Scots at their next meet on Thursday, Mar. 24 at 3:00pm at Carlmont High School.

Team Results:
VB CHS 63 Westmoor 73
VG CHS 63 Westmoor 73
FS Boys CHS 63 Westmoor 69
