Godfather’s Burger Lounge, located on the corner of El Camino and Harbor Boulevard, is a perfect place to enjoy a juicy hamburger with friends and family. But this is no ordinary burger joint, it is modeled and designed after the 1972 classic movie, “The Godfather.”
Although the menu features many types of hamburgers, it also includes different types of salads and hearty appetizers, such as buffalo wings, calamari, and crab cakes.
I started with the appetizer of Buffalo Wings, which was very delicious. The sauce was very heavy and a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. For lunch, I ordered the Soprano Ultimate Burger, which was served sauteed mushrooms, onions, and bacon.
The burger was perfectly cooked and also contained the delicious homemade Godfather’s sauce, which resembles Thousand Island dressing. Godfather’s also has a different array of sundaes, such as Oreos and brownies, for dessert.
Although the spacing in Godfather’s is a little on the small side and has limited seating, the service is exceptional and most people will get in and out within an hour. The friendly atmosphere and accommodating staff will make your experience more than enjoyable. The pricing is a moderate twenty dollars per person, and is worth every penny.
