The formerly empty south side of Hillsdale mall is now occupied by The Cheesecake Factory and the H&M clothing store.
Even though the grand opening of H&M was a few weeks ago, the store still fills with customers and clothes every week.
Some Carlmont students had been eagerly awaiting the opening of the store, “I go shopping almost every weekend and I love H&M because, it’s affordable and thier style is different from other generic brands,” said Angela Perez de Tagle, a Carlmont sophomore student.
The store offers a variety of clothes for children and men but, usually caters to teens and young women as its main clientel.
H&M currently has it’s winter line in stores, which includes clothes, shoes, and accesories to keep customers looking good while staying warm.
According to Perez de Tagle, the store offers high fashion clothes for teens and young adults at prices affordable for highschoolers, “I normally spend forty to fifty dollars there and that will get generally get me two or three items of good merchandise.”
The store also has a section designated to its “Black and White” chic line of women’s clothing.
H&M also has a popular variety of “boho chic” stlye clothing that can be found in the store and online at hm.com.
Another new shop that recently opened in Hillsdale is Designer Shoe Warehouse, or DSW. The large, two-story, shoe store opened right next to Barnes and Noble books.
The gigantic shoe store has everything from boots to heels to sneakers. DSW has a large amount of sales year round targeted to bring in a multitude of customers.
The two new stores and resturant are expected to bring in plenty of revenue in the coming seasons and customers are anticipated to be satisfied and fashionable.
