Asians Are Strong, a nonprofit organization that empowers the Asian community and its allies through self-defense lessons and public events, hosted its second annual event in the San Francisco ferry building on Sunday, March 3. Asians Are Strong coordinators and volunteers worked together to ensure the event started on time. While some volunteers left after setting up, many stayed to keep the event running smoothly or to enjoy the festivities.
