Twitter blew up late Wednesday night with many speculating a recent tweet made by one of America’s most famous sitcom stars.
Charlie Sheen, former star of CBS’ Two and a Half Men, was reported to have accidentally posted his own phone number on his Twitter account.
Before Sheen was reportedly able to delete the tweet, many, including myself, were able to capture Sheen’s assumed meant-to-be private message which included his phone number, leaving hundreds speculating whether the phone number posted by Sheen is in fact his phone number.
“310-954-7277 Call me bro. C,” Sheen tweeted at approximately 10:33p.m. on Dec. 7. Within a few minutes after Sheen sent the tweet, the message was quickly removed, but people already discovered the mishap and started to tweet about the incident; some have even reported posting videos on YouTube of he or she attempting to call the sitcom star, but the calls ended up going directly to Sheen’s voicemail.
Since the incident, Sheen has not made any comments as to whether the phone number tweeted is in fact his or not.
According to Lizzie Bermudez, ABC’s 7Live co-host, the phone number posted on Sheen’s Twitter account has been disconnected.
