The Carlmont Scots came out loud and proud with a 47-0 victory against the Yerba Buena Warriors.
The Scots started off the game with a touchdown late in the first quarter. Keeping their defense tight, the Scots held their lead to finish of the first quarter.
Six seconds into the second quarter, the Scots score another touchdown and advance their lead 14-0. The Scots offense stayed hot with a touchdown, followed by another touchdown with a missed field goal with 1:14 left in the half.
Not wasting any time, the Scots had their offense running to score a touchdown two minutes into the third quarter. The Warriors offense pushed back, but the Scots pushed back harder. Halfway into the third, the Scots advances their lead 41-0 with a touchdown.
Continuing their offensive streak, the Scots scored the last touchdown of the game early in the fourth quarter, and ended the game with a 47-0 victory.
The Screamin’ Scots were loud and enthusiastic throughout the game, cheering on the players and getting the rest of the crowd involved.
The Scots will play next at Gunn High School on Sept. 12. Junior varsity (JV) plays at 4 p.m., and varsity plays at 7 p.m.
