Cartoon: Hail in the Bay

The Bay Area experienced hail and a thunderstorm in late March, surprising many residents. While hail may seem out of place during the spring, it is a typical result of the cold and warm air meeting each other. However, it’s still important to consider the research that has found global warming’s effect on larger hailstorms, proving that human activities play a role on our weather. (Keira Sarmiento)
