Cartoon: Scalper No Scalping

The modern usage of the word “Scalper” describes someone who buys sought-after items in bulk and resells them for an incredibly marked-up price. Today, graphics cards such as Nvidia’s RTX 3090 and consoles like the PS5 are difficult to obtain due to their popularity as ‘reselling items.’ (Calvin Jacobson)
