As summer break approaches, people throughout Carlmont are preparing to finally be able to travel again. The 2020 summer break was defined by harsh restrictions on any non-essential travel, social distancing, and quarantine, but summer 2021 will prove to be more liberating.

Claire Stanton is a sophomore at Carlmont High School, and this is her first year in the journalism program. She is interested in sharing her ideas and learning about the world. She is an officer of the school's French club and a member of the Carlmont Technical Theatre Association.
