Wing Stop is my go-to hangout spot. If you are a teenager and haven’t heard of it, check it out.
Its style is in its name: all kinds of chicken wings. They have an awesome assortment of boneless or bone-in wings in a variety of flavors.
Everything is prepared for you right when you order it, and is done in about 8-10 minutes. Wing Stop is perfect for hanging out after school with friends.
You order your food right when you walk in, with the menu plastered right in front of you. It is easy to order and there are 10 different sauces to choose from.
The sauces match anyone’s taste buds: each topping is rated on a hotness meter (teriyaki being the least hot and atomic being the hottest). Also be warned: they use lots of sauce! If you do not like your wings completely smothered, maybe Wing Stop isn’t right for you.
There aren’t many seats, but I have never seen the place busy. There is seating outside, too.
A normal 10-piece combo with fries and a drink is about $10, and it is usually plenty food.
I give this restaurant a 8/10 rating.
There are several Wing Stops spotted around the Bay Area, but the closest to Carlmont is 1135 Industrial road, San Carlos. They are open Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. and Friday-Sunday 11:00 a.m.-12 a.m.
