Still undefeated, Carlmont’s golf team won their match against Woodside.
Thursday, April 7, was a very windy and cold day. All golfers hope for no wind, but unluckily, today brought very bad golfing conditions.
The golf team practices a few times every week in their off days when they don’t have matches. The practice times and places vary.
The top six scores were chosen to participate in today’s match.
The top six scorers are: Andrew Witt with a 39, Ryan Tierney with a 39, Patrick Soli with a 40, Garrett Allen with a 42, Mason Holman with a 42, and Jack Tilly with a 46.
As a highlight of the match, Garrett Allen was one over par after five holes.
“We did really well considering how bad the weather was,” stated Tierney.
Carlmont’s next match in Monday, Apr. 11, against Menlo Atherton at Crystal Springs Golf Course.
“We need to work on keeping our concentration throughout the match,” Witt concluded.
