March 2023 is Women’s History Month, and the theme is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.” The National Women’s History Alliance has featured renowned authors Toni Morrison, Maxine Hong Kingston, Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, Willa Cather, Gertrude Stein, Gerda Lerner, famed journalist Jovita Idar, well-known activists Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Winona La Duke, and park ranger Betty Soskin. Our duty is to celebrate and remember the trailblazing women who had the courage to challenge society. (Emma Yin)
