Cartoon: Not so tidy

After the birth of her third child, Marie Kondo has loosened up her perception of cleanliness. “Now I realize what is important to me is enjoying spending time with my children at home,” Kondo said. Many parents who struggle to maintain a perfectly tidy household receive this change in the influential lifestyle figure’s once-rigid minimalistic philosophy with comfort. Parenting has proven to be a fulfilling experience for Kondo, and she’s learned to find different sources of joy when balancing her growing family. (Phie Wei)
