Following the mass layoffs at Twitter, the content moderation team has fallen behind. Multiple videos of The Super Mario Bros. Movie have been posted on Twitter at full length and have accumulated over 9 million viewings. This raises concern for movie producers, whose hard work is diminished at the click of a button. Copyright is one of the only valid forms of online censorship, and the fact that Twitter has repeatedly failed to maintain the law is incredibly problematic for smaller productions with lower budgets and revenue.
