The Carlmont freshman girls volleyball team lost to the Burlingame Panthers in a home match 2-1.
The Scots started the match with low energy, allowing the Panthers to get ahead and secure the first set 25-17. However, the Scots began ramping up their energy in the second set, breaking away from their opponents and executing great offensive plays, allowing them to win 25-12. Although the Scots showed a promising comeback in the second set, a lack of consistency and energy led to them losing the third set 15-12, leading to the Panthers’ victory.
