After a long season of work, the regular lacrosse season has finally come to an end.
The Scots ended their season with an impressive end by winning eight out of the last ten games that they played.
They finished the season with a 9-6 record, by far the best record in Carlmont history, after only having one season before this.
Last year, the team ended the season by losing to Leland 6-18, finally wrapping up their 1-11 season. The Scots are very excited and proud of how well their team has done this year and are looking forward to the playoffs which start next week.
Sophomore Evan Smith said, “I am really looking forward to watching playoffs next week because it should be a lot of fun and we are good this year.”
Their next opponent is Palo Alto High School, a highly ranked team that Carlmont has already lost to this year.
When the two teams met for the first game this year, the Scots lost 13-1. The Scots think that the team has made a lot of improvement since then.
Sophomore Zack Beauchamp said, “I think that varsity has made a lot of improvement this year because the JV team has made a ton of improvement.”
With a hard game ahead, the team has to prepare for their first playoff game ever.
