After a slow start to the season, it started to look like a repeat of last year’s 1-11 horrific season.
The Scots started this season with a 1-4 record, just like the season before where they then lost every game from that point on.
This year, after the 1-4 start, they then went on to win their next six games beating Leland, Sequoia, Saratoga, Woodside, Gunn and then finally beating Gunn again.
After this long streak of wins, the Scots finally fell to losing a game against highly ranked Los Altos.
With only three games left this season, the Scots only need to win one out of the three games to end up having a winning record.
The last three games are against Sequoia, Woodside and Saratoga. The Scots are undefeated against these three teams this year going 3-0, beating Sequoia 11-7, Woodside 16-6 and Saratoga 12-7.
The Scots are looking forward to the last couple of games hoping that they can close out the season with three more wins and finish with a 10-5 record.
Sophomore Matthew Amato said, “I think we have made a ton of improvement since last year and I think that we will become better every year. We just need to keep improving and continue to play our hardest.”
Both the team and the fans are looking forward to and exciting end of the season and proud of what the team has done so far this year.
