A power outage in the office and D, E, and C hall discouraged students and teachers from going about the daily school routine on Tuesday, Sept. 21. While the rest of the school was lit, these hallways were blacked out.
Teachers planning on using Smartboards for lessons had to rethink their lesson plan. The main office’s computer system was down, causing issues for the administrators.
AVP Secretary Terri Plack commented, “it kept us from being able to the bulk of our work, but we found other things to do like filing.”
Students also had problems navigating the hallways and getting to classes with the black out.
Freshman Elena Mateus added, “my locker is in D hall and I walked in this morning and it was dark and I grabbed the wrong binder because it was so dark.”
