Izaan Masud is a Junior at Carlmont High School and has been a staff writer for Scot Scoop for a year. He has been reading the news since he was a kid and was especially interested in sports articles about his favorite teams. He's written articles about Carlmont Sports, a feature about political division, and even recorded his own podcast "Scot's Take" with Scotscenter. He wants to learn what it is like to be a part of the journalism process and write his own articles in the future. He also does community service such as book drives and tutoring.
