Carlmont’s frosh-soph volleyball team started their season off with a win against Terra Nova on Sept. 18.
They beat Terra Nova in both sets, with scores of 25-10 and 25-14.
“I think that we did well and that our team has potential and the entire season to improve,” said sophomore setter Lauren Tierney. The team practices multiple times a week to improve their skills.
According to head coach Taylor Chung, “it was an easy win. We’re bigger and we’re a great team. The freshman are good and can only get better. So we can definitely keep this winning up.”
Although this season looks bright for the coach and his players, they still have a ways to go throughout the season.
