Sophomore Jeremy Yam lifts his leg as he prepares to pitch. Yam, who was the starting pitcher, took a deep breath as he started the game. In the middle of the fourth inning, freshman Robert Tadlock switched with Yam to pitch for the team.
The Carlmont Scots boys JV baseball team lost to the St. Ignatius Wildcats on Friday, March 13. St. Ignatius started off strong, scoring two runs in the first inning, and maintained that momentum throughout the rest of the game. Carlmont managed to score one point in the second inning but ended up losing 11-1 with a mercy rule after the sixth inning.
