Cartoon: A Speeding Hit

Olivia Rodrigo’s new song “drivers license” quickly sped its way to the top. Released on Friday, Jan. 8, the breakup song soon became a hit. It was noted as most listened to on multiple platforms, broke Spotify’s record for the most streams in a single day on a non-holiday, and became No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart within the first week of availability. She is interested in journalism because it's a way of telling the truth and expressing culture.
