Cartoon: One Step Forward

Derek Chauvin was finally put in handcuffs and convicted guilty for the death of George Floyd. However, there are still many Black lives who have not received their overdue justice. While Chauvin’s conviction was a step forward, it is important to remember the names of the past. (Brynn Toomasson)

Brynn Tomasson is a sophomore at Carlmont High School and in her first year in the Media Arts/Journalism program. She is interested in journalism because it's a way of telling the truth and expressing culture.
