Cartoon: They’re human too

Israel and Islamic Jihad agreed to a ceasefire after the death of 35 people due to days of violence. Egyptian officials in Gaza helped negotiate this ceasefire. However, rockets were still being fired after the ceasefire was supposed to take effect. This ceasefire was a much-needed push in favoring negotiation over violence which should be the primary goal of global relations. (Emma Yin)
