Cartoon: Trial and denial

On the second day of Donald Trump’s defamation trial, brought by writer E. Jean Carroll, the judge threatened to remove Trump from the courtroom. Trump was asked to lower his voice as both the jury and the victim could overhear his audible commentary on the case. Throughout the trial, Trump showed visible disagreement through hand gestures and facial expressions, as well as referring to the judge as a “Trump-hating guy” before his departure. Claiming his innocence, Trump neglects any backlash and remains in denial of his charges. (Skylin Lui)
