Cartoon: Twitter Controversy Over ‘Libs of TikTok’ Article

On Tues. April 19th, Washington Post columnist Taylor Lorenz published an article exposing the creator of the Libs of TikTok, an account that promotes anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments and influences right-wing media and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, rubbing many conservatives the wrong way. Many relayed their issues with revealing the creator’s name on Twitter, considering the act as doxing, which is spreading an individual’s personal information with malicious intent. Yet, the article’s primary purpose was to inform people of the negative impact it has had on laws and right-wing media. (Sophia Sunbury)
