Cartoon: Work hard, sleep hard

Though physical activity is beneficial for many health-related reasons, many forget the importance of exercise when it comes to sleep. Completing just 30 minutes of physical activity throughout the day improves the quality and duration of sleep in adults. This is because exercise reduces sleep onset, which is the amount of time it takes for a person to fall asleep. It also helps combat sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea. Exercise is essential for quality sleep and a healthy lifestyle. (Grace Stiefel)
