A Carlmont junior attempts to complete a pull-up challenge for the Calisthenics Club. "We started this club in order to help people in our community become stronger and become a better version of themselves," said Daichi Holland, president of the club. Their goal is to help people improve their mental health by also improving their physical health.
Carlmont’s ASB hosts the first Clubs Fair of the year with a large turnout of eager freshmen ready to join as many clubs as they can.
The fair hosts numerous clubs including the Calisthenics Club, Red Cross Club, Girls in Motion Club, and many more encouraging the participation of new students to learn and explore new paths. With over 150 clubs at the school, the Carlmont community promotes the initiative students take to advocate for their interests and unique ideas.
Despite the differences in the types of clubs there are, they all share the common goal of encouraging people to support each other as well as build a more positive and inclusive community.
