Bay Area Indian community lights up the night to celebrate Diwali

Diwali is the biggest and most important religious festival in the Hindu culture. Observed by more than a billion people around the world, the “festival of lights” signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Bay Area residents celebrated the event with prayer, lights, feasts, and dancing.
