Cartoon: A leader lost

Last Saturday, Hezbollah confirmed that their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in Lebanon during a Friday evening Israeli airstrike. While the Israel and the United States governments claim Nasrallah’s fate as necessary and deserving, the people of Lebanon, as well as Hezbollah’s allies Hamas and Iran, grieve for Nasrallah. In response, Iran launched over 180 missiles into Israel. Nasrallah’s death not only marks the loss of a leader but could also escalate the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. (Keira Sarmiento)
