Cartoon: Poisonous food

From Twizzlers to Sour Patch Kids, red 40 is a dye in all kinds of processed foods. Contrary to its attractive color, the dye isn’t as fun as people think. Red 40 can cause many health and medical problems, even heightening symptoms of ADHD. Red 40 and other toxic food dyes must be better regulated and processed before being presented to consumers to mitigate risks to public health. (Marlena Reinshagen)
