Deborah Orler serves up humanity to Bay Area homeless every weekend for 12 years

The Bay Area’s homeless crisis ranks amongst the worse in the United States. According to the Bay Area Economic Institute, there are over 28,000 facing homelessness here. The large homeless population combined with a lack of temporary shelter and subsidized housing options has created a humanitarian crisis. One Belmont woman, Deborah Orler, has personally served meals to the homeless every weekend for the past 12 years.
