The STEMinist Ep. 2: Don’t limit your passions

In the second episode, Allie Tremulis speaks with Danielle Seybold, a biomedical engineering consultant and marriage and family therapist.

Seybold discusses her life and career navigating through finding new passions and why it’s important to not stick with only one. She also shares her perspective on being a mother in a STEM career and how she found work-life balance.

Seybold brings into the discussion Bruce Feiler’s podcast, How To Find Meaningful Work in a Rapidly Changing World, and Cal Newport’s books which are relevant to being a high school and college student designing one’s own career path. A topic Seybold discusses during her work as a therapist by helping others navigate their careers.
