Cartoon: Apple in the Greenhouse

Excess carbon dioxide in the air causes an atmospheric layer that traps radiation and prevents the earth from cooling, known as the greenhouse effect. Apple launched its Restore Fund, a forest restoration project working to become carbon neutral by 2030, hoping to encourage other businesses to participate in carbon removal due to the financial return the project brings. Forests help with climate change through the trees that absorb and store carbon dioxide in the air. (Malina Wong)
