As the global market grows more and more interconnected, local farms find themselves losing customers to imported products that need to be shipped in. Buying locally not only supports the community, but also helps avoid the large amount of pollution produced in the shipping process. (Linda Lin)

She enjoys art, motion graphics, and graphic design and aspires to help make Carlmont journalism a more multimedia platform.
